NaNoWriMo Week 3 {NOVEMBER 16-19}

This is a recap of my experience for 3 days of Week 3 NaNoWriMo.

November 16

Wow! It's hard to believe that week 3 of NaNoWriMo is already here. I'm currently at 22,000 words, and I'm going to need about 4,000 to catch up to the recommended spot. I don't think I'll be able to write that much today, but my goal is 2,000.

I wrote 1,700 words today. That's close enough to 2k for me, so I'll stop. I'm still behind on my goal, but that's fine. I'll hit 25k tomorrow, most likely, because I'm less than 1,000 away.

November 17

Today's a big day for everything, pretty much! A book from a series I'm reading comes out, I've got 3 big school projects, a birthday zoom call to attend, and some other things to do. I'd be surprised if I got even 1,000, but hopefully, I can get more.

It's 9:50pm, and I've just written my first 700 words of the day. Even though it's one of my lowest WCs of NaNoWriMo, I'll have to stop because of how exhausted I am. I'll try to wake up earlier tomorrow and write to make up for today. I haven't reached 25k (only 200 more words!!) but I will tomorrow.

November 19

I passed 25,000 words yesterday, but I'm still behind on my goal. I'm trying to write 2,000 words today, and I think it's possible to write at least 2k if I focus today. It's 10:00am, and I have about 600 words.

It's 3:15pm, and I have 1,100 words for today. The last few days have been a bit unproductive because I wrote myself into a corner, but I decided to just let it be and start a new scene where everything wasn't so messed up. It really helped, so I'll continue doing that whenever I'm stuck.

I wrote 300 words by hand, and I'm currently at 1.4k for the day. It's 7:30pm, and I'm thinking I can write about 600 words before I'm done writing for the day.

I wrote 2.1k words today, which means I surpassed my goal! I'm pretty proud of myself, and I'm going to stop writing for the day.

  1. Following your progress in NaNoWriMo challenge is very much like an exciting short story for me. So far, I have read the story up untill November 19. There are only 11 pages left, and I look forward to seeing what will happen at the end of the story.
    It seems that you are unstoppable, as a writer.
