How To Make Mongolian Beef
Last night I made Mongolian beef with my family, and I wanted to share the simple recipe with you as well. It is very simple, but you will need to dedicate about 1 hour of time to make this dish.
Ingredients
For this dish you will need:
- 1 1/2 pounds of shaved beef
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1 cup of soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 chopped green onions
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves of garlic
Instructions
- Lightly coat the meat with a layer of corn starch.
- Cook the meat in 3 different batches in a skillet until browned.
- Stir oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a skillet. Cook over medium for 20 minutes, until the sauce starts to shrink.
- Pour the beef into the sauce and mix for a minute.
- Set aside and boil ramen noodles.
- Mix this together and top with green onions. You are ready to serve your dish!
