How To Make Mongolian Beef

Last night I made Mongolian beef with my family, and I wanted to share the simple recipe with you as well. It is very simple, but you will need to dedicate about 1 hour of time to make this dish.


For this dish you will need:
  • 1 1/2 pounds of shaved beef
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 chopped green onions 
  • 1 cup brown sugar 
  • 4 cloves of garlic


  1. Lightly coat the meat with a layer of corn starch.
  2. Cook the meat in 3 different batches in a skillet until browned.
  3. Stir oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a skillet. Cook over medium for 20 minutes, until the sauce starts to shrink.
  4. Pour the beef into the sauce and mix for a minute. 
  5. Set aside and boil ramen noodles. 
  6. Mix this together and top with green onions. You are ready to serve your dish!
